In the spring we get our spring lamb from Lowden Farm Shop and their butcher Steve. Steve is a great butcher and even featured in our crowdfunder video. He makes sure that we have a consistent source of quality local lamb each week for our pies.
In the heritage style we keep this simple and add a hint of mint sauce to this pie to enhance the flavour of this lovely lamb.. Approx 225g
Venison and Game Pies
A great winter pie we take the best local game including venison (main ingredient), pheasant, rabbit, hare and occasionally partridge. This is slowly cooked in red wine with herbs and spices until tender.
This filling is enveloped in our own recipe rich shortcrust pastry and baked to perfection. You can enjoy this pie hot or cold.
Christmas Turkey Pie
This year our Christmas Pie is full of Turkey, Sage and Onion Stuffing and Cranberry Sauce. Available from November the 1st until the New Year.
